Summary: Scott’s development has stopped since his firefighter’s father died at the age of seven. He was now in his mid – 20s, had achieved little and aspired to the dream of becoming a tattoo artist who seems out of reach. When an ambitious younger sister goes to college, Scott still lives with his exhausted mother in the emergency room and spends his days smoking the grass. He is attached to the boys Oscar, Igor and Rich and secretly meets his childhood friend Kelsey. But when his mother begins to meet a hard-working firefighter named Ray, it triggers a series of events that force Scott to take his grief and take his first steps forward in life.
